It helps sooo much to better understand the major and minor characters. It changes everything. They are shit books but the lore is almost worth it. The story is very simple. People blow up dragons and explore the new continent. There are some undertones in the narrative regarding Night Elves and also the Infinite Dragonflight. It feels like an old school DnD campaign with a WoW tint. It's a lot of fun but it's not a very serious narrative; the narrative isn't taking itself too seriously ... Fourth, besides political capitals and fallen cities, are any other major cities and strongholds which are large enough to be considered the dominant location in a region. Places like Astranaar, Lakeshire, Menethil Harbor, and the goblin cities. Arcane magic is about control. Fel is about losing control. Fire magic is walking right up to the line of losing control of the Arcane. So Arcane is more powerful in that it is more sustainable than Fel. The 3 dualities seem to be whether that cycle is tethered or unleashed.
