May 15, 2011 · John Deere won't shut off!!! Hello everyone, I'm new here and did some searching but came up dry. Ok heres my issue. I have a John Deere 111 11hp B&S 5sp. Ive had a no start issue for some time now. I bought a new coil, and still no spark. I checked all the wiring connections for corrosion/loose, cleaned them up added some die electric grease. . I’ve been having some issues with my 345 lately. It is not the plastic gear model. I have the FD611V engine. It turned over weakly several times and then stopped turning over at all. The main power jet may be clogged or the fuel level in the bowl is too low, fuel filter clogged, port to fuel pump from crank case may be loose. I have run straight sea foam a few times and it worked for me.The rate of drop knob is located just above the floor boards directly below the operators seat. (just in case you weren't aware).
